It's a life

This was written for a vespers service at camp-

This place has been the cradle of memories made

Of fun times

Of never ending laughter

Of countless jokes

Of the strengthening of old friendships

And making of new

It's been a place that has carried us through the hard times too

It has been a place of caring

And love

A safe space for many of us

Where we are free to be ourselves

A place where maybe we have been coming for years

Or maybe this is your first time

But a place that has impacted us all in our own ways

But, as we go on,

Let the light and the love from this place, lead you forward

May you go forth into the world

Loving a little more

Laughing a little harder

And living a little deeper

May your time here

Hold a special place in your heart

And remind you that

The Adventure Anchored in Christ
